Question Underarm Deodorants and the link to Breast Cancer

It has been suggested by scientists that as well as the long-term use of HRT (over 5 years when the risk increases dramatically) that using underarm deodorant has also been linked to breast cancer.

Considering the hundreds of chemicals the body injests, inhales and absorbes each day it's hardly surprising we're now finding out what a toxic world we're living in and our way of lifestyle is far from healthy.

We've been told of all the links with smoking (lung cancer) and alcohol (cirrhosis of the liver) yet people in their millions around the world still continue.

Given sufficient evidence would you stop using deodorants or is the option of smelling 'niffy' just make you ignore what the boffins say and carry on regardless?

It may interest you to know that 'sweat' is actually odourless - only beginning to smell when exposed to the bacteria in the air. So if you wash yourself frequently then the bacteria causing the smell will be washed off.
