I've been using dating forums for two months now and have had several dates,having been put through the mental torture chamber before hand.

The way the majority behaved before meeting gave the impression i was in for something beautiful and everlasting.

What with the missing teeth and bad breath and utterley boring conversations couldn't even bring myself to offer even a kiss on the cheek.

Then theres the timewasters who you don't get to meet,the ones who should be receiving psychatric help by being locked up,so they can't do my head in on a daily basis.

So the question to all you females is this one,once your past forty do you start to live your life in a tomb as far as relationships go,there would be more fun in a graveyard and more life judging what i have experienced so far.

Come on ladies i challenge you to make me eat my words and restore some faith in you and prove your all not chip butty eating gannets.

Why do you think the "ladies" are on the dating site? its cos they are desperate, and cant find a partner, they could also be on there for one nighters (as are most of the men) If your looking for love im afraid to say your looking in the wrong place, you can never tell 100% that they are genuine.

cashmere the mere thought of meeting someone for the first time on a blind date whould give me the geepy creepies. there are much better places to go and meet single ladies. i would suggest that u contact yr local dating group and attend one of these meetings. that will give u a chance at least to speak to a lady before u then ask her out.

lol Cash hun..I'm 41 and i dont have teeth like tombstones, and neither my breath or my feet smell... I get plenty of offers on nights out when I'm with the girls tbh but i dont act on them as I have a fantastic man at home who i love to bits ... Anyhow to get back to the point my single female friends in their late 30's and early 40's live life to the max and look amazing on it so they definately dont look like extras in Michael Jacksons "Thriller" video !!... I think you maybe need new specs when you pick these gals as they must surely have pics up of themselves smiling lol !!

Anyway why use dating sites ... the woman of ur dreamz will just walk into ur life one day when u least expect it ... u dont need a partner to be fulfilled yano !!!

in the supermarkets

I SAID YOU WONT FIND ANYONE WORTH WHILE ON THE DATING SITES!! as they are probably not what they say they are, and as you have been on a few dates....erm? i was right, they arent all that!!
Maybe you need to look within yourself, maybe you have been on your own for far too long, and are getting a bit picky, after all beggars cant be chooser's,
