what does it mean

when i care about something and a guy says, "It doesn't matter."
or when i try to talk to him he puts his hand up in my face and makes me fear that he will one day hit me just for trying to talk to him, even when he's not busy.
he often comes home tells me to shut up and grabs a beer. we don't talk the rest of the night because as i said i'm afraid he'll hit me. oh and he's also my father. can you explain why he treats me this way because i have spent most of my life blaming my self for talking too much.

it means hes treating you badly , and you dont deserve it! and if he does hit you get him sling in the cells or hit him back twise as hard , i would !

sounds to me as if he has an inferiorty complex and he bully's you to feed his own ego. the guy needs help. you need to get out of there.

mag i always knew he was a jerk but why didn't you ever tell me he was abusing you. much love and i'm moving up your visit with me to the first. i also want you to stay with me for a while till you get your own place here. i don't want you going back to ur dad.

he is a jerk and i think all of you for giving me that reassurance. i might just move to texas cat but i have this distinct feeling that you wouldn't like me close by all the time. if you come into chat and i'm there please pm me so that we can talk. again thanx to every one for your comments and sometimes i do feel like hitting my father in the head with a hammer, just to show him i have a bigger voice than he does.
