While I was growing up, most of my friends were male. I only talk to 3 of them today.
They either/or:
:hit on me and our friendship suffered
:didn't approve of who I was dating and stopped conversing
:never hit on me and stayed friends
(never hit on me doesn't mean that they didn't express that they didn't think of it)
:we did date and still remained friends
So it depends on the stability of the friendship!

i have many girls im friends with just to be friends
then i have ones that sure id like to get in a relationship with but sex would just be a by product of that.
i am also mates with girls id love to sleep with but thats not why im friends with them.
i actually have more female friends than male.

Hmm I think it would be hard for the guy, cos if he keeps thinking about sleeping
with the woman, it could cause friction, unless he is good at disguising what he wants.
Some guys have no sexual desire towards the females they are friends with.
I suppose it depends on individuals.
