Well was at Durham hospital for 10am this morning, poor guy was sick of everyone looking at his toe, kept telling em to get off..
they booked him in for his operation for half 1, so they took his temp etc, put the magic cream on his hands which he did not like, kept telling me it was making him sore, because his hands were going numb!
Plastic surgeon came and told me what he was gunna do, then the anethatist came and said what she was gunna do, all we needed to wait for was him to go to theatre, THEN the surgeon came to see us at quarter past one, looked at his toe and said she wasnt gunna operate, i asked why and she said it didnt need it, it should heal on it's own...so we waited for him to be bandaged back up, which Ethan screamed at because the gauze had iodine on, and he didnt like the colour, he thought the nurse was putting a dirty bandage on him!
anyway gotta go back next week so they can see how its healing!!
Soo happy he didnt have to have an operation, but annoyed that id travelled all the way to Durham, sitting on a bus for an hour and a half to get told basically there was no point in coming!!
So we'll see what happens next week

Yep, spent all my morning in hospital today with my three year old!! he thought it would be a good idea and try to pick up a big stone, didnt think it was a godd idea after he dropped it on his toe, and cut it, he sliced his nail clean in half and his toe underneath his nail, we could see inside his toe! wasnt a pretty sight!!
so was at hospital from quarter past ten, got home just after one, and now we gotta travel to Durham in the morning to see the plastic surgeon, so that should be fun... the poor guy can have anything to eat OR drink from midnight tonight, which is gunna be torture cos he loves his food and fluids!!
Just hope it all goes well!
I feel so exhausted, he was soo brave only cried when it hit him, was shaking with shock he was bless him, if it was me i would have screamed the place down, when the doctor was looking at his foot all he kept saying was 'don't touch don't touch' i just wanted to smack the doctor for making it worse!! But i suppose its gotta be done!!
Roll on tomorrow!!

well hello to all who read this haha.i have been married for 24 years and six months ago my wife was killed by a hit and run driver who was high on cocaine.the case is still ongoing and i really hope he gets wahat he deserves.. i have 1 boy of 23 yrs and we are both living each day as it comes i hopethis answers all yr questions..im ok thanks to all who have asked. i appreciate your concern,especially balony who has offered to cook my tea hehehe(private joke) any way the chat room is a welcome escape for me from the shit life has thrown at me..thats it chat to you all soon
