Okay! Now that I have awakened!

I just want to plant my flowers before they die.
I want to have breakfast with my mother!
I want to get all the big trash out of my house.
I want to launder everything.
I want kids to do more for this tired old body and clean the house.

A co-worker's youngest had gotten into a little trouble at school (too many lates to classes I think) and he was to have afterschool detention. After a couple of days that he wasn't in the detention room, the teacher decided to catch him at his bus. He didn't show. Bus driver stated he hasn't been on the bus for the last two days. The teacher went looking for him. How ingeneous was this 11 year old that he was hiding as a track team member!! :congrats: He had been staying afterschool so his mom wouldn't know that he wasn't in detention and the afterschool bus would take him home. He was able convince the coach he was on the team! Of course he is in more trouble than when he started but isn't it funny she was telling me about this before she knew my youngest is on his track team from a different schools. :vroam: I asked her today before I found out the meet was cancelled if she wanted me to look for her son at the meet! lol

I love music. I listen to almost every type of music. If the song is good but I don't like the artist, I'll still listen.

What music I listen to will depend on my mood also. Sometimes its country or rock or classical, big band, hard rock, easy rock, new wave, screamo music, punk, etc.

Life is too short to worry!

My youngest is competing in the track and field tomorrow! District meet. He does the shotput and 880 race.

I have to ask off from work to be able to go. this really means that I have to make up the time lost.

Cancelled! Rain Rain Rain! We'll just have to have him practice more. It is postponed til Monday!

For practice of shotput, we rinse out old milk cartons, fill with water and head to the park. He shotputs them. They burst upon impact and we recycle the remains. They weigh more than the school's shotput thus gets him better distance in meets.
