The Rhino.....

I think it may be time to point out the story of the rhino......
My PC got invaded by a spybot and trashed when I tried to defend myself.
This was carried out by the so called friends that exist within WOC.
I was cutely invited to another chatroom site where they got my addy and consequently used it and msn messenger to breach my security software and have free run at my PC.
I've enjoyed chatting on WOC but would never go to the lengths these ppl have to enact any sort of revenge.......thus I simply balanced a pebble on the rhino's back that charged at me.
I've got a feeling there are some paranoid entities about this site.

I'm still confused Seaton. If someone invited u to another room and did all that then maybe u should tell us who it was in case they try to do to us as well...

I don't see the confusion because there are that many ppl acting under different profiles on WOC it is hard to say who was the culprit. I've brought it to your attention because I feel that there has been a battle going on at WOC that has polarised the whole place and thus some ppl are looking to get as many as they can on their side.
I have used WOC a lot and have always made an effort to start conversation. I feel that this has been hampered by the clash of personalities that has gone on.
As for the pebble on the rhino's back, it was a comment to say that I don't intend to take it any further as it would just fan the flames.
I feel it does have something to do with WOC as it was here that I was lured to another site by ppl you would not expect. So I think that I am in my right to post it as a chatroom story for future users to be aware of.

Lets start with your first comment, so who is acting under different profiles ? im pretty sure you have no evidence for this what so ever that anyone is doing this, so where have you got this from ?

You have no email address on ur profile thats the only way they could have got your email from woc or they got it from you giving it out, so it has nothing to do with woc, in fact you are just proving one of my points which is to keep ur personal data to urself, World of chat doesnt give out email addresses so they didnt get your email from us !

The fact you added someone you dont know to your msn is your problem, so dont throw the problem back at us !

As far as the battle goes on, there is no battle, somone got banned and tryed to tell u all a load of rubbish to get you to leave with them !

You have a right to post your story, but you also have to provide facts a not a load of hearsay and guess work !

If you had actually asked us for help, we might have been able to give you some advice on how this might have happened !

um how can someone have more than one profile ???? i would have thought the admin would pick up on it as with any pc , the ip number would come up and im think admin would notice that one straight away if it were being done ???? (lol have you ever seen a list of actions behind the scences of a chat room all them numbers and letters do me head in just looking at them lol)

Pete has just pointed to one of the problems. If your in the know as to who your talking to then you have free game to the newbies and the like. I find it very sinister indeed.

ok, i may have this totaly wrong seaton, but are members of woc giving banned members there passwords so they can come in as them?? Cause thats what i think ur getting at... If that is the case and you know whos doing that then please do tell us, because yes if im talking to a banned member and i was thinking it was some one esle we all have the rite to know that.... sorry if i have missunder studd you seaton , but, i never said i was bright, so i have to ask just so im clear.
