Hi there

The arcade is offline for the time being !

Since no one has actually been in the room at all today, the ones who have, have just logged in and out and im not having it !

If people are just going to use the arcade theres no point in having it !

Surely the point of the arcade is to bring people in, also it gives a talking point. At the moment i feel like a naughty child who's had my toys taken away for not doing as i was told, I'm far to old to be told I have to talk to people when I dont want to!
I've enjoyed coming onto this site, and the arcade made it even better, but it's beginning to feel a bit like big brother, do as I say or else.
Hope this made sense.

To be honest I dont care !

The admin team have worked hard to get the chat room up and running and the forums, in the last few months, people have stopped making the effort and we aint aint been asking for a lot, the odd post and going into the room isnt much to ask for.

After all you want a community dont you ?

People just go into the arcade and dont contribute, and this affects everyone, its not just me that gets annoyed by it, the regular people who post on here get annoyed too, as they feel they are carrying the rest of the people who use woc, and quite frankly they are !

I tryed to do it the nice way, i told people not to log into the rooms and log straight out, people still do it, that will be my next problem to resolve !

I asked people to post on the forums people dont do it !

So what am i supposed to do, this is a buisness not a free for all, i might as well get rid of the chat room and start an arcade if no ones gonna bother !

So if that involves ruffling a few feathers then we will do it, as what we are doing at the moment isnt working, so its time to change it.

I do post on the forums if i see anything relavant to me, i could be like some and write a load of jibberish just to get my posts up, but i try not to, in that i may have failed thou!
As for logging straight in and out again, I went in the main room, where there were 2 people, both idle, so I logged out again, if this is wrong then I hold my hand up and say I'm wrong, but no matter what anyone says it's your site to do as you see fit with, whether it bring people in or drives them away. Time will tell.

Ok i can see why you want people to put postings on, but come on 10 postings before you can play any games, i think you might have shot yourselfs in the foot by doing this. Not exactly what people want to be doing sat putting up posts to look at the game. Personally i don't mind but i think there will be a big drop off of members

In fact most people have said its a good idea, and as you can see the forums have more posts and are more interesting already.

Ok, maybe i'm wrong and I am one of those thats posting jibberish, I dunno, s'pose its a matter of opinion but I kinda hoped I was making people laugh and or informing them of my daily rants, laughs, and general goings on in the world lol, I like having an opinion and it wont please all cos not all will agree with me, but thats life isnt it??!! my mum taught me from an early age that we will never like everyone we come across, its more a matter of being polite to those u arent too keen on and making sure u value ur friends and those who look after u............. sorry people if its a load of rubbish in ur view but guess thats wot a forum is for.........to talk, usually harmlessly about issues of current interest and ur opinions of them??!!! well theres mine and if u wanna comment please feel free cos I love a good conversation

I think that was a compliment pmsl, and very much appreciated as they r somewhat of a rare occurence lol............I wasnt picking on u Bar but figured perhaps I was a jibberer and was merley sayin if I am a jibberer then oh well, cos I aint gonna stop, helps me to get things off my chest so unfortunatley ur all stuck with me, for now anyway!! So I shall keep on posting and in my weird way whilst venting my spleen, perhaps on occasions entertain and maybe even amuse lol

Its like pulling teeth with all this I'm sure. I'm so glad I'm not admin coz I'd have a permanant swedeache trying to please. The fact is you can't please all the people all of the time and we have brought it upon ourselves. I aint posted much the past few days coz my pc is being a dork but try my best, (which doesnt count for much I know but there you go.lol). Wot would be cool is if we could all stop and think for a min wot we'd do with our spare time if woc wasn't here, (not many would opt for the ironing now would they?.lol) And as I said yesturday; or today; whenever it was, wot's half a dozen posts going to hurt anyone?
