The same way people come in and say the room is boring.. Make it
fun then. It's not down to a few people but to each of us to make
our chatroom time enjoyable. I know we are all different, but being
adults we do not need to be pampered.

I agree with you betty and avec.Its their own fault if they dont join in.After all it is a chatroom pretty sure they knew that when they came in.

Just had a thought. Putting it mildly.. why do we need assistants to
make newbies feel comfortable? This is not kindergarten aka play school.
I checked again and yes it is an 18 and over site. 18 is adult. When
an 18 year old goes into a pub to buy a drink.. strange they are not shy.
OO this statement includes all adults not just 18.
How come people feel shy and need to be pushed and egged on, in a faceless
chatroom? Damm it, we are each in control of our own keyboard.
If you like, use it. If you don't like.. don't use it. But I tell you no lies,
my children are grown, and I am not playing Mummy to anybody. Sorry to sound

when i joined this site( ok the best site ever) about 4 years ago ppl came in and chatted wether new or regs, they dint need help to chat then and shouldnt do now, they need welcoming and chatting to and getting to know as we all did at 1 time, so nothings changed , so need nothing changing, worldofchat is good as it is ,if ppl be as good as they are, ok apart from nutters lol so get on with it and have fun xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Well yesterday it looked like ppls were using the other rooms and not just hogging the newbie's room which sort of helped when trying to help newbies sort things out.
