Windows Vista is suffering similar problems which XP suffered from.
It was a rush job to get it out on the deadline given, which they still failed to meet.

All the XP fans here, remember Service Pack 2?
That was Microsofts way of repairing faulty goods.. another rush job.

Vista requires just the same, Vista Basic is no good, if anyone was to use any version, i'd recommend Premium. Although in saying that, i'd stick with XP until they release an update for Vista.

Regards

Depends what you class as shit really.
Security wise it's excellent, visually it's attractive, only thing I don't like is the fact Vista supports hardly any software.

Oh and of course, the fact it takes up roughly 12GB of space as a basic install, it sucks up 80% of the RAM even when using 2GB, it's slow, it lags, it causes system errors, it doesn't have a built in Windows Picture & Fax Viewer - InfranView is recommended as a replacement.

On the whole..
It's total Bollocks Rofl
