well if i'm on holiday abroad its got to be the germans who are most annoying..putting towels on sun beds early in the morning to save them..grrrrrrr really gets my goat.

lol ok i will say anyone that is ignorant and lacks values, etc.

To be honest, i don't think we British put up a favourable impression of ourselves when abroad. Half-naked teenage girls rolling round in the gutter vomiting at 2 in the morning is hardly a great example. Drunken louts trashing hotel rooms and having sex in public is not going to endear us, as a nation, to the local populace.

I don't particularly like the way we export the worst aspects of our culture; it's as though we can only tolerate foreign soil if we obliterate everything that contributes to it's difference. Hence, there are many places in Spain where you'll struggle to find tapas but the great British fry up [ with a pint of lager ] is ubiquitous.

My family is Irish and none of my cousins will go out in Dublin town of a weekend because of British hen and stag do's. Loud, aggressive, volatile drunks.....and thats just the hens !

Our binge drinking children have even made the cover of Time magazine and inside it talks about the epidemic of anti-social behaviour that is amongst the worst in Europe.....So....who indeed are we to be throwing stones when we live in a glass house.

Who is the most annoying race? Well sadly I have to agree with you regarding the Americans. They do tend to have a superiority complex and only their way is the right way.

But then there are many annoying things about other races.

We are a long way off yet from living in peace and harmony with each other because the stronger nations are bullying the weaker ones.

Technology has been a lot at fault - those that are in the forefront have no patience with those lagging behind - but WHY should one nation interfer with another - why not let them evolve at their own pace? One reason is because some of these weaker nations have treasures the West want i.e. oil, diamonds etc. So they are exploited, bullied, threatened or buoycoted. I fear that if it weren't for the US interference the East wouldn't be so aggressive towards the West. Politics is a dirty business and I can't see anything changing for a very long time. So yes there are a few others in my mind that drive me nuts due to the constant back and forth interference and consequences that are then felt by the innocent inhabitants of the UK.
