I fimrly believe it's a concious decision, and a sick disgusting one at that. Prison is too good for these people, though I dont condone hanging, lethal injections, electrocution or anything like that. Deport them to an uninhabited island and just leave them there.

men who like wimen only cant be turned gay gays cant be turned straight lesbians cant either( theyre allergic to cock ) and people who find kids attractive cant be made to stop finding them attractive so....................... save a lot of money and effort and paperwork and just kill the ba$tard$ slowly painfully publicly

Bakerboo, thanks for this thread, i actually think any sort of sexual offence, to minors or any one helpless.....should be dealt with accordingly, obviously, they have a problem, if they have already been convicted of such offence, then it such deffo be dealt with asap NO SECOND CHANCE...,ie........sent to prison,,,send them to the big boys!!! the sooner the better we get rid of scum!!!!! ( i also read prison books)) if you have already been done for the offences im talking about, then i dont think there should be any second chance, absolutly not, all i can say is if your a parent you will know,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Wron g wrong wrong, im a mum of 3 girls in fact i feel really mad, i heard on the radio tonight, that someone tried to break in a womens house locally.... and ended up raping her............just recently......... what the hell is the world coming to???? i say send them for a stint for her majesties pleasure.......lets hope they get bummed, f**ked without their consent!!!! im sure they wont be as grateful, as they think their victims arent either.......................................:shot :

I'm a firm believer in 'Chemical Castration'.
It's ruled out on the grounds of the offender's 'Human Rights', yet we are happy to prescribe sedating medication to schizophrenics to kill their urges at the drop of a hat!! Strange set of moral values, if you ask me! 'Chemical Castration' is there to destroy a dangerous desire, just as sedating drugs do with schizophrenics. Rations belonging to British troops was routinely laced with 'Bromine' during WW1 in order to kill the sex drive, to destroy what was an unwelcome and dangerous distraction for troops at the front line.... How is destroying the very thing which causes these people to offend an infringement of their 'Human Rights'? Why does no one discuss 'Human Wrongs', 'Human Responsibilities' or the 'Victims Human Rights'? We all love a 'hate figure', someone that unites us together to despise, but if you think about it, who should you REALLY be despising? The person who offends because of his uncontrollable illness? or The hand-wringing libertarion who deliberately campaigns against the effective treatment of offenders because it clashes with their holier-than-thou-black-and-white-soft-and-fluffy view of the world? I know which one gets ME in a rage!! |

To be honest, I don't know what the right answer is - my gut reaction when I was affected by this subject was that they should all be given a lethal injection, or similar. However, I wonder if that's really the right answer - what about those very rare occasions where, some time after the fact, evidence is uncovered which proves that person was wrongly convicted and was in fact innocent? Once you have taken someone's life, you cannot give it back. It costs millions to keep these offenders in prison every year and would no doubt cost a similar amount if we committed them to psychiatric hospitals instead. If the answer is to give a drug to supress their sexual urges, how do we punish them for their first offence? Or do we simply acknowledge that it's a sickness, sympathise with the child(ren) and families concerned, but let the person continue living in society without having to pay a price for what he/she has done? If it was my child, I know I would not be able to accept this.

How about a lengthy prison sentence, mandatory chemical castration, mandatory rehabilitation programmes and then, on release from prision, a mandatory fortnightly interview and an injection to continue the chemical treatment, topped off with a lifetime 'parole'.
Any indication that the offender might re-offend then it's off to a clinic for further treatment, and any ACTUAL re-offending and it's back to prision to repeat the sentence IN FULL, from the start!! Harsh, but it gives the offender a chance to rehabilitate and makes it safer for the public. So the 'Human Rights' of the offender are comprimised? Big deal! He's receiving treatment! |
