i am under stress and dont know wot 2 do, i have just started a new job after being out of work for 5 months, i care 4 my elderly diabetic mum who is getting very confused, my uncle is appearing in court in may 4 abusing me as a child, and i have 2 appear as a witness, i have a large debt due 2 being out of work, my hair is falling out due 2 the stress, on top of all that i am being treated 4 an underactive thyroid and depression which is making me tired and weepy, i dont know which way is up, and i need help

hey babes , my sons been diabetic for ten years now since he was 3 , hes on 5 shots of insulin a day now , so im quite skilled in the area - so if you need any advice and tips on it just give me a shout babes , i may be able to help you x

hi, thanx 4 ur message, my mum is 81 and is diet controlled diabeties, but she is getting very confused, (i am wondering early dementia,) and she sometimes refuses to let her carers in to give her her medication, (she lives alone) she has taken it herself before but took a double dose by mistake, her mental and physical health is worrying me, which is on top of everything else i am dealing with at the mo. she has a social worker, but i am afraid that they will put her in a home,but its good to talk to someone who understands. xxx

mabe it would be a good idea to go and talk to her social worker in depth about your worries, they may be able to direct you to the organisations that can help you.If you do feel she has the early signs of dementia then it would be worth haveing a mental health assesment done.As for her going into a home, i can understand thats the last thing you would want and mabe there is a way around that, but in saying that her self saftey is top of the list .And it does sound like she may well need 24 hour care.Which i do think will be an impossable thing to do considering your own problems.I would also advise you to contact the citizens advise buraue , you should be able to find some help and ideas there to .Best of luck hun and t,c for now x

a community to nurse to visit you.
