How do i cope with this

this seems really werid , do you always get friendly with old people , to the point u are changing there bedding lol

He was 87 yrs old , could barely walk and was constantly on oxygen not only did i change his bedding , I cleaned his windows, tidied his house, did his shopping, took him to the hospital,and sometimes I even did a bit of gardening for him
I dont see anything wierd about helping someone who found it difficult to do everyday jobs they could no longer mange because of their illness
I would do the same for anyone who needed help!

Sad but true, families come first no matter what the circumstances,
My dad passed in April none of his immediate family had talked to him for a few years with the exception of my sister, the reason we hadnt talked was very personal, his sister took over the funeral arrangements, even got rid of his clothes etc, went through his personal belongings and did with it what she wanted, we (myslf and siblings) felt the control was taken out of our hands...
Whaty im trying to say, family do and always come first no matter what has happened,
Im so glad you were there in his final days,although maybe not his moments, you did everything you could, you were there, sleep easy, you did what you could without getting in the way of the family,

you do sound a warm and kind person star,you remind me of someone very close to me lovely,i think the best way for you to cope mrs is= you made him feel comfortable in his darkest hours no doubt,reading what you wrote i cant imagine you treating him as a burden but as a person who you must have had laughs and good days (times)with,so for that you should be happy for improving his quality of life,hes now gone to a better place with (no disrespect)people who love him in a differnt way to what you did,i believe in his eyes he is now home!!!!and god repays angels so good things will happen for you m8y.chin up stop being upset and be happy you are a special kind of person.respect from dyno to star
