Fairy Land

You spotted snakes with double tongue,
Thorny hedgehogs,be not seen;
Newts and blind worms,do no wrong;
Come not near our fairy queen.

Philomel,with melody,
Sing in our sweet lullaby;
Lulla,lulla,lullaby:lulla lulla lullaby!
Never harm,
Nor spell or charm,
Come over lovely ladynigh;
so,goodnight with lullaby.

Weaving spiders,come not here,
Hence you long legged spinners hence!
Beetles black,approach not here,
Worm nor snail, do no offense.

Fairy Ring

If you see a fairy ring
I a feild of grass,
Very lightly step around,
Tip-Toe as you pass,
Last night the fairys frolicked there
And they're sleeping somewhere near
If you see a tiny fairy
Lying fast asleep Shut your eyes
And run awy,
Do not stay to peek!
Do not tell
Or you'll break a fairy spell.

Sleep Song

How far and wide the fairies fly
On bright golden wing.
But when they settle down to sleep
A gentle song they sing
"sweet queen of night
Soft silver stars
We're glad you are so near
We seek our beds
We rest our heads
Without a moments fear
On this thistledown
In hidden nooks
We watch waning light
The joys of sleep
Upon us creep
We wish you all a goodnight.

Fairy Dance

As you fall fast asleep
Fairies come out to play
Fly around above your head
And dance the night away
Gossomer wings fluttering
Taking them to and fro
Twirling with fairy dust falling
Everywhere they go
You'll not see them
In the light of day...
Only in the night
When the sun is shining
They hide from your sight
I'll tell you a secret
If they are flying around
And you should happen to awake
Quick...
Make a wish
Will it come true...
Who knows
But dont you think its magic
Everywhere a fairy goes...
Do you think
These magic fairies
Dancing to a magic sound
could be...
Lets find out
and pass them
all around
Maybe as they fly across
The miles
Their magic can cast
Lots of happy smiles
And after all...
What more can i say?...
Isn't a smile the best thing
To put magic in your day?
