Whenever I try to write about
The feelings I have for you
My heart simply slams the door
To hide them all from view

It doesn't want to share at all
Emotions beating strong
It wants to keep them selfishly
Inside where they belong

Afraid to be misunderstood
By some that do not know
The feelings that we really share
Run as deep as they can go

Deep and true as any love
But ours is so unique
Friendship and yet so much more
Of this I cannot speak

I cannot allow myself to think
About the many "what ifs"
Wondering about what might be
Will lead me to that cliff

I'll stand there at the very brink
And peer down from above
And when I see that peaceful scene
I just might fall in love




i am passionate about poems and have written loads lots more from me to come ppl.
