if i had kids i wouldnt let them on computers unless i was with them and it was for information purposes...no way would they be socialising on it..to many weirdos out there.....locks should be used on all computers with only responsible adults knowing the passwords.....

I agree and thats how i do it with my kidz, however sometimes i bog off to bed and leave my 15 year old step son on the pc, i dont think am a bad person for trusting him not to go in chatrooms or stuff like that, but if he was in chatrooms and such id want to know so i cud batter him then tell his mum so she cud also batter him.
Some kidz are sneaky and by far more clever then mums and dads.
13 is too young way to young a plug shud be pulled at 9pm at the lastest.

Yup, I totally agree, kids are trying to grow up far too quick these days. These young 'un's could meet a right freak off the interenet. It ain't impossible. Then they might end up in a ditch somewhere. I'd never forgive myself if that was me. I don't have any kids either. That may be a blessing for me lol. xx

What the bloody hell was a 13 yr old doing online at that time of night anyway??...i have a 14yr old daughter, and theres noway in hell shed even be allowed in a chat forum to be honest...no offence, but you never know......
Disgusting behaviour on the parents part i think.
