Default education

should we seperate the schooling system now?
should we have seperate schools now for working and non working families
would it cut down the overall failure rate of children
as they would not have the distraction of problem children in an otherwise healthy normal class
that way all the children who have working parents and learn the values of hard work and determination will not be distracted by the "social" issues of non working parents children

well
i grew up on the posh bit on the estate
what i mean is i wasnt near all the druggies and alchys
which most of the area is full of
but u wouldnt see them down our road
went to a normal school
and i didnt turn out too bad
its the adult life thats had its toll on me

i think if the poshoes were put together
and the scruffians were put together seperately
there would be still rivalry

the poshoes would fight each other
cos they would try to be the top dog
amongst the whole school

and the scruffians would probs have less baths
to try and be the smellyest
lmfao

I see where you're coming from Pete, but to be fair - it's not a child's fault into which environment they're born into i.e. working or non-working parent/s. Why then should they then be punished even further by being denied the same educational standards as everyone else?

Having myself been educated at both private and grammar schools know first hand there's a 2-tier level of education going on out there already. It has been proved that State schools compared with the fee paying schools show that their pupils are academically 2 years behind proving that the overall standard of education in State schools to be inferiour.

EVERYONE regardless of social background or financial status deserves the best education going. These children are this country's future and no child should ever have that birthright taken away from them because of their parent's failings.

hmmm
perhaps if we just took the disruptiveand smelly children out the classrooms and educated them in a "special" school
maybe some children can become more than what they are now
if we can just root out the less teachable ones i reckon education could be on to a winner

For the disadvantaged children there are 'special schools' but your point was to separate out children whose parents worked and those that didn't and were on benefit. And I replied ------- as you can see above.

On this occasion I disagree and feel that's discrimination against the innocent less fortunate. Shame on you Pete.
