Id choose girls all the time, i have 3 and when i was pregnant with my youngest i was praying it was another girl, id be too scared to raise a boy as i would probably be so protective and he would grow up to be a wuss, but i do agree with the rest of the posts, as long as they are healthy thats all that matters.

im probably the same as u all...dont matter what sex they are as long as they are healthy....i think it depends on the child not the sex of the child..some will say boys are easier to raise and vise-versa...i dunno ive yet to experience it myself....

My beliefs are firmly in place here no medical intervention in how the human race shud look like or what sex shud it been. Look at Adolf Hitler he did it. What happened to those children to today nobody really knows and I would hate to know that we are getting so blaze about our lives that we forgot the absolute miracle of life and the joy at the birth of a child and celebration of a new life. Each one unique with its own special talents to make our universe whole. Who wants a SciFi human, I most certainly don't.

I think sometimes the medical world goes too far. I dont think gender is something you should be able to pick and choose. I know for me I have a lot to thank medicine for as my son was born very premature and spent 10 weeks in the special care baby unit, but regardless of his sex I was just very grateful to eventually be allowed to take him home as a healthy baby all be it 72 days after he was born. Ok rant over lol and in answer to the original post I think you should be gratefull for any baby you are lucky enough to have.

And once again . . .freedom of choice! So because a mother chooses the sex of her child it means she is ungrateful to just have one in the first place?? Dont think so!! What if a woman has given birth to 5 boys, and would really just love a little girl to share that mother daughter bond with?? Does that make her a bad person if science allows her to have that happiness?? Who is she hurting by choosing the sex of her child?? It certainly isnt the child! What if a parent has a gene,a hereditory illness that can only be passed on to her baby if she has a daughter?? So she gets to choose to have a baby boy so as not to give the child she will love and adore this hereditory illness that could inevitably ruin their lives?? This is the 20th centuary people. . .science has came up with alot of possibilities in life since william wallace was around! If people want to pick and choose what sex their baby is,that does not make them any less loving parents than those who leave it up to fate to decide. It does not make them any less grateful than those who leave it up to fate to decide. I already have a little boy who i love dearly. If i was to have another child and i could choose between a boy or a girl i would choose a girl. I already have the mother/son bond . . .why is it wrong of me to want to experience the mother/daughter bond?? If i can make that choice then who are anybody else out there to judge???

Regardless of sex we all want our children to be healthy. So if couples out their are unfortunate enough to be unable to have children we should just be grateful we can and not be given the opportunity to choose what sex our child is if we can?? Thats like saying " I really wanna run the Biggest marathon in the world, but its gonna cost alot of money to get the the location, and my next door neighbour has no legs,so i should just be grateful that i do have legs and can actually run a marathon so i'll just run round the block a few times and be grateful for it"!! Why should other people be deprived of their dreams just because their are otheres out there less fortunate than themselves?? Of course its awful for people who cant have children, but if theres a woman out there who already has 5 boys and her dream is to have a baby girl and she can choose . . .then i say go for it!
