if the child wants to do it then yes as with all contact sports, kids should never be forced into things like that if they dont want to.
my son did karate from the age of 5 to 9 and became a brown belt and then quit, i dint want him to quit but was his choice so had to lump it, so i aint voting xxx

If they want to do it and it's with fully trained instructors then why not.. I do object however to little kids being pushed into things, whether it be sport, music or whatever, they have to wish to do it,.

But that little girl clearly was being spoon fed what to say...her dad kept saying "good gir" after ever answer she gave. I had to turn over in the end...at 5 they are still babies and learning to fight at such a young age I think is disgraceful.

i think its the child choice.... personally i think there gonna need some sort of self defence the way the world is going...

I voted no. Because I think 6 is a bit young. But then I haven't got kids. So if my kid was constantly pestering me to allow him/her to do it, I really don't know which way I'd go to be honest. I think kids are growing up far too quickly these days. xx
