child kickboxing

do you think its right for children as yound as 6 or 7 to be invoved in kick boxing competitions. there is a programme about it on channel 4 on thursday night. i don't think its right. it looks like there is some pushy parents on there that are making they're children fight even tho they don't want to. i think thats a form of abuse. i know kids need to be able to protect themselves these days..but do they really need it as such a young age.

ive said no, because i had seen in the papers what state those children were in , it was awful.Some of those parents need a good slap for putting those chilren through that.

I think there gunna make it look bad... kidz have been doing it 4 years, its the ones that are pushed into it thats wrong...
Most trainers wont take them into compition unless there ready.
And its not cheep to enter so its not taken lighty no matter how this program makes it look.
Iv nevr herd of a kick boxing kid been called a yob hanging around as they have a hobbie and a sport more of all... better than been a pussy swimmer.lol But i bet u all reakon thats ok.... and there made to train more.
Its a harsh world to be the best, and in that sport ur better off young, you get a numbness to the pain as you get older.
It controls adhd as they have an out let and other anger issues are kept under control.... xx

Sadley some of those children were being forsed into it until they cryed , and thats so wrong ! i hate it when parents push their kids like that , all because they themselves wanted to get ahead like that , its liveing your life through your child , just vile ...

as long as the kids want to do it it is great
teaches self defense and self control

i think if the child is happy doing it then yes its a good idea but if they are been forced into by the parents then no i dont think that is ok it got to be the kids choice

as long as it is not 4 sport theres no harm in teavhin self defence to any aged person would u feel diffo if the person was 90 or so
