That result made my day on Sunday. Why? Well, after spending the weekend in Leeds for the Kaiser Chiefs gig at Elland Road, come Sunday morning I'd more than had my fill of Leeds fans acting as though they'd already been promoted before a ball had been kicked. The arrogance of so many thousands of them at the concert on Saturday was almost beyond belief, particularly all those wearing the t-shirts proclaiming "-15 points but we're still going up". Wrong move that - especially when you've still to play the best footballing team in the division in the final. But as lil' ol' Donny aren't anything like as big a club support-wise, the bookies unbelievably made Leeds slight favourites - obviously they'd quickly forgotten how Doncaster annihilated Southend in the semi-final. So it was with great pleasure that I strolled into a bookies in the centre of Leeds on Sunday and backed Doncaster to win 3-1. The bet might not have come in but the next best thing happened.

Crikey Betty, I'd never have guessed that pmsl. I mean, there wasn't much that gave that fact away - only the fact that they're all season ticket holders at Elland Road, some of the band were wearing Leeds scarves, and the "LUFC" marking on the keyboard in luminous letters (something that was present at their Manchester gig back in November lol).

As it happens, the Kaisers were just about the best behaved Leeds fans at the concert - no arrogance from them at all regarding the match. Even Fat Chris Moyles showed the vast majority of Leeds fans how to behave lol.

Must say - it was a top gig though!
