This really is difficult to seperate one group or artist.

Soul music being my favourite type of music would say Lamont Dozier because he has wrote so many great songs for other people/motown etc.

He also for me wrote and sang, probably the greatest love song in" Why Can't We Be lovers" i have ever heard on the invictus record label.
