I have been in several chats, I have enjoyed chatting to folks, and enjoyed Pming them. I was polite , if someone says no thanks ..... then I respected them. I found lots of lovely people, who would chat to in Pm and in room. We did swop MsN's but when your ticked off with the room , you can still chat with a friend. I also found a relationships through the net too . There is nothing wrong with this either.

As for trolls , well best way is to ignore ...after a polite No thanks ... no need for any need to listen to a tit head.

So ... those are my thoughts ...

ive tried another chat room, and i must say, i was disturb to what i was hearing in there please please come bk woc, and ime glad the rules are set in the chat room they are there 4 a reason and they sure make me feel safe, if i cant come hear then thats it 4 me and chat rooms. as there can only be 1 woc

Tried US Chat, from the ad/link on woc...its the same layout except u can show and draw pics during the chat...most drawers doodle a cock. All the women constantly gettin pm'd. Its cam and mic -enabled, so the typed chat is sometimes forgotten (the mic chat is slow).
NOT as good as woc at all....

been to another room, based on a ship and the crew, lots of different "rooms" to go into i like the parent to parent one the best.
you start off in the embarkation lounge to get used to the way things are done and every now and again the "captain" pops in with something for you to do to gain promotion, once you have reached a certain level you are then allowed to roam the ship.
yes there is e mail and addy swapping allowed, but only via private convo or through the "logbook" you aquire, someone can pm you even if they are not in the room at the time but you can easily accept or decline, you can also create a private cabin which you control as to who does or does not have entry and the amount of people you want in it.
the room i have chosen to go into was very nice with lots of friendly helpful people, and i have made some very nice friends, but it is still a pleasure to come back to WOC and meet up with the very nice friends i have made on here to, and should the room finally close down then it will be a very sad day indeed because i will miss them a lot, not to mention the lunacy of the cams that was an inspired idea.

Dear Holly, I have been on to other free chat rooms and yes there is some element of men and women that wants to talk dirty, but for the most it is up to u to either ignore them or chat with. The sites that i have visited have ignore buttons which will allow u to put those that pester u on ignore. Not just that there is always someone there that will kick really obnoxious clients off. Not all ppl on other sites are dirty or stupid or ignorant. We are all supposed to be 18 and older and as far as I am concern u post yr warnings all over to be careful when u chat not to give yr personal details out because of the risks that are attached to it. I will advise u not to take it personally that if someone chose to ignore the rule to close the site down. My personal opion if u catch him/her just ban them from the sight because for the most that use this sight do agree with the rules. U always going to get the perverts or rule breakers if u have an open chat site. If u do not want to deal with this or except it then yes close the site but i would think it a real shame. Just never forget that our constitution advocate freedom of speech, media, etc. Therefore when u 18 and older u may see, say, do, hear with in the guidelines of the law of the country, which by the way has been selected by u and voted for. I personally can't see the hookada about all of this. But then we all have an opinion. I say keep the sight going||

ive done as told and spent 15 mins on uk chat n chat lycos and found that after saying hi you are ignored if not ignored then all people want to talk about is sex n keep pestering for email addy or phone number or other imformation thats why i love woc cos u no when you log in that if someone asks for that kinda imfo they get dealt with and the person being hounded has someone to help them in other rooms if you tell them no you dont get any help and are kept being hounded

ooh lynx i found that 1 too an it was abit confusin at first but i got the hang of it to sum level..did seem to av a lot to do..i wasnt pm,d but im a guy so didnt think id get much of that i found it last night i think.. or the day before...sorry memory lapse..its me age..lol cant remember the name now..but it was ok..well it was the best out of a bad bunch i guess..but still not as good as this 1 . i was welcomed ok an was talked to an was able to ask questions an got decent replys.. so i guess its all down to wot ya want from ya chat time really..there was the odd person sayin no thanks i dont pm but we get that here to..the whole thing has been very educating..still dont av the answers like..but im gettin a better clue as to how things work on line..i think..

Please open up the other rooms with ALL rules in place and let us all start again enjoying our chats moans and groans and above all making new friends.
