Admin have decided to open ONE room for the time being but CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING:

Admin have decided that the best way for all our regs to understand why we have created WorldOfChat and the best way we can think of is for all of you to go and visit other chat rooms.

We want everyone to go and try another chat room, stay there for 15 minutes minimum, try and have a sensible conversation or a laugh, then come back here and post your experiences after this post, good or bad and we will not censor any posts save for removing any links to other sites.

Once we feel we have sufficient feedback then we will consider re-opening the rooms as before

ANY POSTS MADE AFTER THIS ONE WILL BE REMOVED UNLESS THEY ACTUALLY CONTAIN A REPORT ON ANOTHER CHAT SITE.

Once you have read and been to check out another site AND reported on it at the end of this thread please go to Holly's Unofficial Poll on the future of WOC: Future of WOC, your opinions

i dne what the announcement said and went in2 another chat room called free chat room for 20mins and omg all they want to do in there is ask u if u have msn or talk dirty to u u cnt have a proper conversation with any 1. and some of the things they was cumming out with was pure filth. tank god for woc thats all i say.

I have tried other sites and found that Ifelt uncomfortable in them, as i found people where allowed to swear and say what they wanted they also exchanged addys, i was hit on and felt really uneasy when i was asked to give my email as i didn't even no anyone in the room not that i ever give my email address to any one especially people i dont know. Thats what makes wocs special to me as I no admin and the hosts are there to help if we need it. I would miss every one i have made friends with here.

ok iv jus bin an spent sum time tryin to get into other chat rooms think i looked at about 6 only managed to get into 1 of the actual chat rooms erm ukchat or sum thing cant remember as i tried a few.. as a result of lookin for other chat rooms iv jus had my internet invaded by a virus!!!!!! luckly iv got good software on my pc so its in quarantine.. i cudnt get into sum of them at all was jus goin round in circles.. enter this name enter that name...wot a pain in the arse.. will give it another go if needed but well id rather not now to be honest..

wasnt too bad, there was one moderator that instantly welcomes every1 and says that if u have any problems just say. there was a few people that said hi to me and then ignored me from then on even though i was trying to grab their attention...but overall it wasnt to bad

I dont need to go coz before I signed up to woc I had tried a couple of other chat sites and the experience was'nt pleasant!So although I agree with the topic situation I aint putting masel through the torture of entering one of those filth monger sites sorry xxxxxx

well i did wot u asked about checkin out some other rooms but i had already posted my expierence in the forum before i saw this post,i will add in here tho that although i didn't enjoy the other sites,i was fortunate not to get hassled by the opposite sex for my addy or anything,but thats cos nobody spoke to me,despite trying to join in,ive tried 2 other sites so far,and niether of them came close to this site.

most of the other free chat sites are just into sex porn and slaggin everyone off and some i dont want to go in becauase my pc says it as java watever that means an wont let me access unless i say an i say no so all i want to do is chat in woc and have just a nice silly chat an a laff thank youand i have tried other sites an most just let kids in without makin sure they are not to young to be among adults and ones who behave

I tried other chat sites before I found woc and they were not good in my opinion the ones I went on people didn't chat in the rooms anyway u were just bombarded with pms then all they wanted to do was talk dirty anyway. Plus it was just talking to the opposite sex. I wanted a site where you could talk to both as friends nothing more. Somewhere to have a laugh and sensible conversations. (ok not always sensible wen it comes to me lol) I like the people on here so please don't disappear. Woc is the only chatroom i've found like this.

having been lucky enough to find this site i wasnt keen to go looking, but i did, and tried 3 in all one wasnt to bad but dont know if that was because there was only 6 of us there, with one of that number being a "support" which i guess is host. that chat was slow but i was askd all usual questions and had one pm which i declined. the other two well the're best described as "cattle markets". 2nd had well over a hundred people most of who werent talking, pm left right and centre and even when i said hello and put in my contribution i was ignored, way to cliquey for my liking,even though there were 3 other rooms they werent being used. there are more or less the same rules as woc but i didnt see a host or admin to inforce them, the 3rd one wasnt much better but there were cams allowed so as has happened here, mostly everyone was on cam, chatting to someone in pm, or just sitting idle. which i'll admit i have done in here just because i dont have a point to add to the conversation. there was no host or admin for this room. i hope this helps. i knew i wouldnt find another site like this or if i did it would have been pure luck, and im not that lucky. xx bunny xx
