    We have two pet sheep.
Never did I think that I’d be the owner of two sheep, and the way this happened is a bit funny.
We had 8 chickens. The chickens were good to us and they gave us many eggs, but all good things come to an end. One by one, the chickens died of old age. We dutifully buried each one and then came the dreaded moment, we were down to one chicken.
Being afraid that the chicken would get lonely, we borrowed a lamb from a friend who had a farm. Sadly, the chicken was terrified of the lamb and the friend didn’t have time to pick it up. So, we kept it for 4 weeks. We took it for walks and named it Laika. Then came the moment that Laika was going back home. I went with her when she was dropped off. When I turned around to go back to my vehicle, Laika let out this loud, heartbreaking scream, she then put her head against my leg, looked up at me and cried, and cried, and cried. And so it happened that Laika became my sheep. But after some time Laika got lonely. You cannot have just one sheep. So, we got her a friend. We named the friend Betty. Laika is now 5 years old and Betty is 4 years old. They are inseparable.
