I would like some opinions on this. Is a smart watch worth it? Is it a must have, or is it just another gadget that will disappear?
Nowadays you can get a smart watch at Amazon for like $30. Those smart watches might not be sophisticated but I think that they are excellent for people who want to try it out first and see if it is something they want to invest in. That’s what I did a few months ago. I ordered a $28 smart watch from Amazon just to try it out.

It was exciting at first. I checked my blood oxygen saturation level every hour and my heartbeat every half hour, haha! Of course I also carefully kept track of how many steps I took in a day.
A great thing about the watch was that I only had to charge it about once a week, the battery seemed great. I had to download an app which was necessary to work with the smart watch. Now I could even pick up the phone through my watch. That part I really liked, it was very convenient. I could also check my text messages etc.. Another nice thing was the ‘where is my phone’ option. I often misplace my phone and my watch would make my phone beep when I asked it to.

Fast forward 5 weeks or so, and I totally got bored with it. It was just something else to pay attention to. The smart watch has now been in my desk drawer for a few weeks, unused. Thankfully it was a cheap one and I didn’t go for ‘the real deal’ right away.

Anyone? Got a smart watch? How do you feel about it?

Smart watches are amazing I cannot really recommend any though there are so many and they change all the time its impossible to buy the same one twice unless you want to spend loads

Every once in a while you’ll see a story in the news about how a smart watch saved someone’s life.
As with everything else, I think you get what you pay for so the more expensive ones are more sophisticated and they have a lot more options and features.
My biggest problem with a smart watch is bad eyesight. I use reading glasses but when I’m outside I don’t need them and that means I can’t look at my watch or even at my phone.
Here’s to hoping that people don’t mess up their eyes using phones and smart watches.
