Chat Room Guidelines

Please read the terms and conditions below. Failure to comply may result in being kicked or banned from the chat room.

Rules and Guidelines

  1. Age Requirement:
    • You must be 18+ to chat in our rooms.
  2. Language:
    • World of Chat is an English-speaking room. Communication in other languages is not permitted.
  3. Behavior:
    • Keep your cool. Things can get heated in chat rooms.
    • Do not annoy others in the room.
    • Do not stalk or intimidate others.
    • Treat others as you would in a real-life situation.
    • Room hopping (logging in and out of different rooms quickly) is not allowed.
    • Do not change your name in the newbie’s room.
  4. Chat Etiquette:
    • Stay fully clothed on your webcam.
    • Do not use capital letters (equivalent to shouting).
    • Do not use underlines in the main chat room.
    • Do not scroll the chat room with blank lines of text.
    • Do not use offensive words.
    • Do not share your email, website addresses, or URLs in the main chat room.

  6. Private Messaging:
    • Do not PM (private message) Admin or hosts without permission.
    • Exchange personal details in private at your own risk.
    • Always ask for permission before private messaging someone.
  7. Admin and Hosts:
    • Respect Admin and Hosts; their decisions are final.
    • Admins (red names) and Hosts (green names) are here for your safety and to maintain order.
    • Ignoring Admin or Hosts will result in removal from the room.
  8. Personal Information:
    • Do not give out personal information (emails, phone numbers) in the chat room.
    • Names in red are Admins, and those in green are Hosts
    • Watch out for chat room scams

Additional Information

  • Newbie’s Lounge: If you are new, start in the Newbie’s room to try out the chat without registering.
  • Free Registration: Registration is free with a valid email, age, and gender. We do not use your contact details for purposes other than necessary communication.
  • Other Rooms: Additional rooms are open to registered users when unlocked.
  • Site Adverts: We are not responsible for the content of ads.
  • Kicking and Banning: Persistent rule-breakers will be banned, and in extreme cases, we may report to your ISP.
  • IP Logging: IP addresses are logged for security purposes and stored securely.
